About the Nissan Skyline R34
The R34-generation 25GT-t serves as the high-performance rear-wheel-drive variant of the Skyline range, sitting just below the flagship GT-R. It is powered by the RB25DET NEO engine, which features improved variable valve timing and a more efficient turbocharger compared to its R33 predecessor. While it lacks the ATTESA E-TS all-wheel-drive system, its lighter kerb weight and traditional front-engine, rear-drive layout make it a favourite for drifting and street tuning. The chassis is significantly stiffer than previous generations, providing a more precise driving experience that remains highly sought after by JDM enthusiasts.
