About the Nissan Skyline GT-R R32

The R32 Skyline GT-R marked the return of the GT-R badge after a 16-year hiatus, specifically engineered to dominate Group A touring car racing. It introduced the sophisticated ATTESA E-TS all-wheel-drive system and Super HICAS four-wheel steering, paired with the iconic RB26DETT engine. While officially rated at 276 bhp due to the Japanese 'Gentlemen's Agreement', actual output was often higher, and the engine was designed to handle significantly more power for competition. Its total dominance in the Australian Touring Car Championship earned it the nickname 'Godzilla'.
