About the Nissan Skyline GT-R Nismo R32
The R32 Skyline GT-R Nismo was built to homologate specific aerodynamic and mechanical upgrades for Group A touring car racing. It is distinguished by its 'Nismo' aero kit, featuring additional cooling ducts in the front bumper, a bonnet lip spoiler, and a small boot-lid lip. To save weight, Nissan deleted the ABS system and rear wiper, and utilised aluminium for the front panels. Mechanically, it swapped the standard ceramic turbochargers for more durable steel-wheeled Garrett T04B units, sacrificing some low-end response for the high-boost reliability required on the track.
