About the Nissan Quest V41

The V41-generation Nissan Quest was the result of a joint venture with Ford, sharing its platform and assembly line with the Mercury Villager. For the 1999 model year, the Quest grew 4.6 inches in length and gained a driver-side sliding door, addressing the primary criticisms of the first generation. The GXE became the entry-level trim, with front air conditioning, cruise control and ABS, while rear air conditioning was kept for the SE and GLE. While it lacked the outright power of contemporary Honda or Toyota rivals, it was praised for its car-like handling and smooth VG33E engine.
