About the Nissan Presage U31
The second-generation Nissan Presage (U31) was developed on the FF-L platform shared with the Teana and Murano, aiming to provide a more car-like driving experience than traditional boxy MPVs. It distinguished itself with a low floor for easy ingress and a unique glass hatch in the rear door for quick access to the luggage area. The interior featured highly flexible seating, including a second row that could slide sideways to create either a bench or individual captain's chairs. While the 3.5-litre V6 was the flagship, the 2.5-litre QR25DE inline-four provided a balanced entry point for families in the Japanese domestic market.
