About the Nissan NV200
The Nissan NV200 was designed as a clean-sheet replacement for the Vanette, prioritising a small footprint with a surprisingly large 4.2 cubic metre load bay. Built on the Renault-Nissan B platform shared with the Micra, it offers car-like driving dynamics and a tight turning circle ideal for urban deliveries. The 1.5-litre dCi engine, sourced from Renault, is a staple of the range, valued by fleet operators for its fuel efficiency and reliability. While basic in its interior appointments, its clever packaging allowed it to carry two Euro pallets, a feat usually reserved for larger vans. In 2019, the diesel variants were discontinued in Europe in favour of the electric e-NV200 and the Renault-derived NV250.
