About the Nissan Murano Z51
The second-generation Nissan Murano (Z51) refined the 'sculpture in motion' design language of its predecessor, offering a more premium interior and a distinctive front grille. Sharing its VQ35DE V6 engine with the 350Z sports car, it delivered smooth, linear power through a revised Xtronic CVT. While it lacked the off-road credentials of the Pathfinder, it excelled as a comfortable, high-specification highway cruiser with a focus on refinement. In the UK, it remained a niche alternative to European luxury SUVs, eventually being withdrawn from the market in 2011 due to slow sales.
