About the Nissan Altima L34
The sixth-generation Nissan Altima (L34) debuted for the 2019 model year, featuring a more aggressive 'V-Motion' design language and a lower, wider stance. While the headline was the innovative VC-Turbo engine, the 2.5-litre naturally aspirated unit remained the volume seller, now featuring direct injection for improved efficiency. This generation marked a significant milestone by offering all-wheel drive for the first time in the model's history, aimed at competing with the Subaru Legacy in northern climates. Inside, it prioritised comfort with 'Zero Gravity' seats and the introduction of ProPilot Assist semi-autonomous technology.
