About the McLaren P1 LM
Commissioned by Lanzante Motorsport and built by McLaren Special Operations, the P1 LM is a road-legal conversion of the track-only P1 GTR. It serves as a spiritual successor to the F1 LM, following the same philosophy of taking a racing variant and making it usable on the street. The LM is 60kg lighter than the GTR, featuring a stripped-out interior, Lexan windows, and a titanium exhaust system. Aerodynamic revisions, including a larger front splitter and rear wing, provide a 40% increase in downforce over the standard GTR, while the hybrid powertrain is tuned to deliver a full 1,000 PS on pump petrol.
