About the Bugatti Veyron 16.4
Launched in 2005, the original Veyron 16.4 coupé brought Bugatti back to the summit of the performance-car world. Its quad-turbo W16, all-wheel drive and seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox were engineered to make extraordinary speed accessible without sacrificing road manners. It feels remarkably composed for a car capable of 407 km/h, though tyres and maintenance demand specialist attention. The original 1,001 PS coupé should not be confused with the later, more powerful Super Sport.
