About the McLaren P1

The P1 appeared in 2013 as the spiritual successor to McLaren's F1 road car. Its twin-turbo V8 and IPAS electric assistance drive the rear wheels through a dual-clutch gearbox. Active wings, downforce and track-focused electronics give it immense cornering ability as well as acceleration. Only 375 road-going P1s were built, placing it among the era's sought-after hybrid hypercars.
