About the McLaren 620R
The McLaren 620R is the ultimate expression of the Sports Series, effectively a 570S GT4 race car adapted for road use. By removing motorsport-mandated air restrictors, McLaren increased the output of the 3.8-litre V8 to 620 PS, making it the most powerful model in its class. It features manually adjustable GT4 dampers, carbon-ceramic brakes, and a massive adjustable rear wing capable of producing 185kg of downforce. The interior is stripped of most comforts, featuring carbon-fibre racing seats and six-point harnesses to provide a visceral, track-focused driving experience.

McLaren 620R rarity in CarSpot
The McLaren 620R is a Unicorn card in CarSpot, with a rarity score of 100 out of 100. The rarest tier: hypercars, one-offs and cars built in tiny numbers, typically fewer than about 500. A Unicorn card is worth 320 XP.

McLaren 620R fun facts
- The 620R uses the same Monocell II carbon-fibre chassis as the 570S GT4, ensuring immense structural rigidity for track work.
- Though originally announced with a production run of 350 units, McLaren ultimately limited production to just 225 examples globally.
- Owners could specify the car with track-only Pirelli slick tyres, which were designed to be swapped at the circuit for maximum grip.
