About the Mazda CX-80
The CX-80 is Mazda's flagship SUV for the European and Japanese markets, effectively a long-wheelbase version of the CX-60 designed to accommodate three rows of seating. Built on the Large Product Group platform, it features a longitudinal engine layout and a rear-biased all-wheel-drive system. The 2.5-litre PHEV powertrain is the most powerful in the range, pairing a naturally aspirated four-cylinder engine with a 129kW electric motor and a 17.8kWh battery. It offers a premium interior with Japanese craftsmanship, competing with established luxury rivals while maintaining Mazda's focus on driving dynamics.
