About the Lexus LS XF20
The second-generation Lexus LS (XF20) arrived in 1994, evolving the formula that had famously disrupted the European luxury establishment. While visually similar to its predecessor, over 90% of its components were new, resulting in a lighter chassis with a longer wheelbase for improved rear legroom. The 1UZ-FE V8 was updated for 1995-1997 models to produce 260 hp, maintaining its legendary reputation for smoothness and near-silent operation. As a collector car, the XF20 is prized for its peerless build quality and 'million-mile' reliability, representing the peak of Toyota's over-engineered era.
