About the Cadillac CTS
The second-generation Cadillac CTS marked a turning point for the brand, moving away from the 'stodgy' image of its predecessors toward a genuine sports-luxury identity. Built on the Sigma II platform, it featured the 'Art and Science' design language with vertical LED lighting and a bold, angular silhouette. The 3.6-litre V6 provided a balanced entry point into the range, offering a refined cabin that finally rivalled German competitors in material quality. While the high-performance CTS-V grabbed the headlines, the standard 3.6 was the volume seller that re-established Cadillac's relevance in the global executive sedan market.
