About the Lexus RC F Track Edition
The RC F Track Edition is a lightened, sharpened evolution of Lexus's grand-touring coupe, designed to address the standard car's weight issues. It features extensive carbon fibre components, including the bonnet, roof, and a large fixed rear wing that provides 26kg of additional downforce. Mechanical upgrades include Brembo carbon-ceramic brakes and a titanium exhaust system, contributing to a total weight saving of roughly 80kg. While it retains the characterful 2UR-GSE V8, the Track Edition's revised aerodynamics and reduced unsprung mass make it the most focused iteration of the RC platform.

Lexus RC F Track Edition fun facts
- The Track Edition's titanium exhaust system and carbon-ceramic brakes were key to reducing unsprung weight, significantly improving turn-in response compared to the standard RC F.
- Only 50 units of the initial 2020 Track Edition were allocated to the United States market, making it one of the rarest modern Lexus models.
- The fixed carbon fibre rear wing replaces the standard RC F's active spoiler, trading variable drag for consistent high-speed stability and downforce.
