About the Lexus ES XZ10
The seventh-generation Lexus ES (XZ10) marked the model's debut in the UK market, effectively replacing the rear-wheel-drive GS. Built on the GA-K platform, the 300h Takumi represents the flagship trim, prioritising ride quality and cabin silence over sporty dynamics. It features a fourth-generation self-charging hybrid system that seamlessly blends a 2.5-litre Atkinson-cycle engine with an electric motor. The Takumi grade is distinguished by its high level of standard equipment, including a 17-speaker Mark Levinson sound system and semi-aniline leather upholstery.
