About the Land Rover Range Rover Sport L320
Introduced in 2005, the L320 Range Rover Sport was Land Rover's answer to the growing demand for performance-oriented luxury SUVs. Despite the name, it was based on the Discovery 3's 'Integrated Body Frame' rather than the flagship Range Rover's monocoque, providing exceptional off-road capability alongside improved road manners. The 2.7-litre TDV6 engine, developed in partnership with PSA Peugeot Citroën, was the entry-level diesel choice, valued more for its refinement and towing torque than outright pace. While it lacks the speed of the Supercharged V8, the TDV6 remains a common sight on UK roads as a versatile, if complex, family workhorse.
