About the Land Rover Range Rover Sport SV L461
The L461-generation Range Rover Sport SV replaces the previous SVR as the performance flagship, trading the supercharged V8 for a BMW-sourced 4.4-litre twin-turbo unit. It introduces the '6D Dynamics' suspension system, a world-first hydraulic interlinked setup that removes the need for traditional anti-roll bars to control pitch and roll. Weight-saving measures include optional 23-inch carbon fibre wheels and carbon-ceramic brakes, which together shed 76kg of unsprung mass. Initially launched as the invitation-only 'Edition One', it has since transitioned into a series production model that balances track-capable dynamics with traditional Range Rover luxury.
