About the Land Rover Defender 110 L663
The Defender 110 is the five-door body of the L663 Defender and the first version Land Rover revealed, at the Frankfurt Motor Show in 2019, before sales began in 2020. It rides on a 3,022 mm wheelbase, seats five, six or seven, and keeps a side-hinged rear door with the spare wheel mounted on it. Under the familiar boxy shape is an aluminium monocoque with independent suspension, in place of the separate chassis and live axles of the original. The D250 pairs a 3.0-litre Ingenium six-cylinder diesel with 48-volt mild-hybrid assistance, an eight-speed automatic and permanent four-wheel drive, and can tow up to 3,500 kg.
