About the Lancia Thesis

The Lancia Thesis was a daring attempt to reclaim the brand's status as a premier luxury manufacturer, featuring a divisive retro-inspired design by Mike Robinson. Its interior was a masterclass in Italian craftsmanship, utilizing high-quality materials like Poltrona Frau leather, magnesium, and open-pore wood to create a lounge-like atmosphere. Mechanically, it featured a complex 'Skyhook' semi-active suspension system and a unique five-link front suspension setup designed for ultimate ride comfort. Despite its technical sophistication and distinct character, it struggled to compete with the German trio, resulting in low production numbers that have made it a rare sight today.

Lancia Thesis fun facts
