About the Koenigsegg CCR
The Koenigsegg CCR was the definitive evolution of the early CC range, designed to capture the world production car speed record. It achieved this in February 2005 at the Nardò Ring, clocking 387.87 km/h and ending the McLaren F1's eight-year reign. Powered by a highly tuned 4.7-litre V8 with twin Lysholm superchargers, it features a carbon fibre and Kevlar monocoque with a removable targa roof. With only 14 units produced, it remains a foundational piece of hypercar history, known for its raw, analogue driving experience and signature dihedral synchro-helix doors.

Koenigsegg CCR rarity in CarSpot
The Koenigsegg CCR is a Unicorn card in CarSpot, with a rarity score of 100 out of 100. The rarest tier: hypercars, one-offs and cars built in tiny numbers, typically fewer than about 500. A Unicorn card is worth 320 XP.
Each model's tier starts from a 0–100 score based on its value plus its power or production numbers. Once enough players have spotted a model, how often it is spotted can move it up or down one tier. How CarSpot rarity works
Rarity is a collectible game mechanic, not an assessment of real-world scarcity or value.
Koenigsegg CCR fun facts
- The CCR features a ghost symbol on its engine cover to honour the Swedish Fighter Jet Squadron No. 1, which formerly occupied the Koenigsegg factory site.
- It held the Guinness World Record for the most powerful production car at the time of its launch in 2004.
- The CCR's record-breaking run at Nardò was achieved using a 'technically standard' car, including production-spec tyres and engine tuning.
