About the Ferrari Monza SP2
The Monza SP2 is the two-seater opening act of Ferrari's 'Icona' series, reimagining the 1950s barchetta for the modern era. Based on the 812 Superfast, it features a carbon-fibre body devoid of a roof or traditional windscreen, instead using a 'Virtual Wind Shield' to manage airflow. The 6.5-litre V12 is the most powerful naturally aspirated engine Maranello had produced at launch, delivering a raw, exposed driving experience. With production limited to 499 units shared with the single-seat SP1, it is a highly coveted piece of automotive sculpture.

Ferrari Monza SP2 fun facts
- The 'Virtual Wind Shield' is a patented aerodynamic passage under the driver-side fairing that compresses and ejects air upwards to create a 'bubble' of calm.
- Ferrari limited the combined production of the SP1 and SP2 to just 499 units, offered exclusively to the brand's most loyal clients.
- The car's design is a direct homage to the 166 MM, 750 Monza, and 860 Monza, which helped establish Ferrari's racing dominance in the 1950s.
