About the Koenigsegg CC8S
The CC8S is the first production model from Koenigsegg, representing the culmination of eight years of development by Christian von Koenigsegg. It debuted the brand's signature dihedral synchro-helix doors and a carbon-fibre targa top that stows neatly in the front luggage compartment. Its 4.7-litre V8, based on a Ford modular architecture but extensively re-engineered, earned a Guinness World Record for the most powerful production engine at the time. With only six units produced, it is one of the rarest hypercars in existence and established the lightweight, high-speed DNA that defines the marque today.
