About the Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren Stirling Moss
The SLR Stirling Moss is the ultimate evolution of the Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren, designed as a roofless and windscreen-less speedster. Built to commemorate Sir Stirling Moss's record-breaking 1955 Mille Miglia victory, it features a carbon-fibre body that sheds approximately 200kg compared to the standard car. The 5.4-litre supercharged V8 is shared with the 722 Edition, delivering 650 PS to the rear wheels. Only 75 units were produced, offered exclusively to existing SLR owners as a final collaboration before the two brands parted ways.
