About the KGM Tivoli

The KGM Tivoli represents the 2024 rebranding of the long-running SsangYong Tivoli following the company's acquisition by the KG Group. This 1.5 T-GDI variant features a turbocharged four-cylinder engine that provides competitive performance for the B-segment SUV class. While it retains the X100 platform introduced in 2015, the 2024 update brings a revised 'EV-inspired' front fascia and an upgraded interior with a 10.25-inch digital cluster. It remains a budget-focused choice, prioritising generous interior space and a comprehensive equipment list over premium cabin materials or class-leading driving dynamics.

KGM Tivoli fun facts

  • The name 'Tivoli' was chosen because it spells 'I lov it' in reverse, a marketing detail retained through the brand's transition from SsangYong to KGM.
  • The 2024 facelift introduced a distinctive asymmetric front grille design that features three small tabs representing the letters K, G, and M.
  • Despite its budget positioning, the Tivoli uses a 6-speed automatic gearbox sourced from Aisin, a supplier more commonly associated with Toyota and Lexus.
