About the KGM Torres EVX
The Torres EVX is the first electric vehicle launched under the KGM brand, following the rebranding of SsangYong by the KG Group. It distinguishes itself from the petrol-powered Torres with a futuristic 'Powered by Toughness' front fascia featuring a distinctive horizontal LED light bar. Underneath, it utilises a 73.4kWh 'Blade' battery sourced from BYD, employing LFP chemistry for improved safety and longevity. Despite its rugged, off-road aesthetic, the EVX is front-wheel drive only, prioritising family practicality with a class-leading 839-litre boot and a 1,500kg towing capacity.
