About the Haval Jolion
The Haval Jolion, whose name is an anglicised version of the Chinese 'Chulian' meaning 'first love', was launched in 2021 as a successor to the H2. Built on GWM's modular L.E.M.O.N. platform, it focuses on high-tech interior equipment and a spacious 2,700mm wheelbase that rivals larger SUVs. While the 1.5-litre turbo engine provides adequate power for urban commuting, the car is primarily noted for its value proposition, featuring a 12.3-inch infotainment screen and a suite of active safety systems as standard. It has become a significant export success for Great Wall Motor, particularly in Australia and South Africa.
