About the Jensen GT
The Jensen GT was the final model produced by Jensen Motors before its 1976 collapse, serving as a more refined, fixed-roof 'shooting brake' evolution of the Jensen-Healey roadster. It featured the advanced Lotus 907 DOHC 16-valve engine, which provided spirited performance despite the car's increased weight over the convertible. Inside, the GT was significantly more upscale than its predecessor, boasting a burr walnut dashboard, optional air conditioning, and 2+2 seating. Its short nine-month production run and distinctive styling have made it a rare and intriguing alternative to contemporary sports estates like the Reliant Scimitar GTE.
