About the Jaguar XF X250
Launched as a radical departure from the retro-styled S-Type, the X250-generation XF introduced Jaguar's modern design language under Ian Callum. The 3.0-litre AJ-V6D engine, introduced in 2009 to replace the 2.7-litre unit, provided the refinement and mid-range punch necessary to compete with German rivals. It features a distinctive 'Jaguar Drive Selector' rotary dial that rises from the centre console and air vents that rotate open upon start-up. While the chassis is based on a developed S-Type platform, its tuning offers a class-leading balance of ride comfort and handling poise.
