About the Jaguar F-Type R
The F-Type R Coupé joined Jaguar’s range for the 2015 model year after the roadster’s debut. Its supercharged V8 drives the rear wheels through an eight-speed automatic in this original specification. The closed body gives it a distinct silhouette and greater structural rigidity than the convertible. This entry describes the early rear-wheel-drive R, before all-wheel drive and the later 575 PS facelift changed the formula.
