About the BMW M4 Competition G82
The second-generation M4 arrived in 2021 with a much more assertive design and BMW's S58 twin-turbo straight-six. This entry represents the original rear-wheel-drive Competition coupé, which uses an eight-speed automatic rather than the standard M4's manual gearbox. Its stiff body, active rear differential and adaptive suspension support serious performance on road or circuit. Later xDrive and higher-output versions have different specifications.
