About the Hyundai Terracan HP
The Hyundai Terracan was a traditional body-on-frame SUV that replaced the Galloper, continuing Hyundai's reliance on Mitsubishi-derived engineering. Its chassis was based on the second-generation Mitsubishi Pajero, providing genuine off-road capability and a high towing capacity of up to 2,800kg. The 2.9-litre CRDi engine was a significant step forward in refinement for the brand, featuring common-rail technology. While it lacked the on-road poise of contemporary unibody rivals, its durability and value made it a popular choice for rural owners and towers.
