About the Hyundai i10 PA
Launched in 2007 to replace the Atos, the first-generation Hyundai i10 (PA) marked a significant step forward for the brand in the European A-segment. The 1.2-litre Kappa engine, introduced in 2008, provided a much-needed boost in performance and refinement over the entry-level 1.1-litre unit. It was praised for its surprisingly spacious interior, light controls, and generous equipment levels relative to its low price point. While primarily an urban commuter, its stable handling and decent build quality helped it become a massive sales success for Hyundai globally.
