Honda RA107
Honda's 2007 works car, outpaced early in the year by a Super Aguri built from its own predecessor.
About the Honda RA107
The RA107 was the first Formula One car designed under former HRC motorcycle engineer Shuhei Nakamoto, and it was revealed at the Circuit de Catalunya in February 2007. It was slow from the start, with Jenson Button and Rubens Barrichello qualifying 14th and 17th in Australia, behind the Super Aguri SA07 that was effectively an updated 2006 Honda. Reliability was good, but the team did not score until Button's eighth place in France, and his fifth in a wet Chinese Grand Prix was the car's best result. Honda finished eighth in the constructors' championship with six points, and Barrichello failed to score all season for the first time in his career.
