About the Force India VJM06

The VJM06 was a complete redesign of Force India's previous car, launched on 1 February 2013 at the team's base near Silverstone under technical director Andrew Green. It used a customer Mercedes-Benz 2.4-litre V8 with KERS and a McLaren seven-speed gearbox, and was raced by Paul di Resta and the returning Adrian Sutil. Sutil led the Australian Grand Prix for several laps, but both cars retired in Malaysia with wheel nut problems. Di Resta's fourth place was the car's best result, and Force India finished sixth in the Constructors' Championship with 77 points.
