About the Force India VJM05
The VJM05 was Force India's 2012 car, launched at Silverstone on 3 February and raced as Sahara Force India after Sahara India Pariwar became title sponsor. Paul di Resta drove it alongside Nico Hülkenberg, who returned to racing after a year as the team's test and reserve driver. It used a Mercedes-Benz V8 and a McLaren gearbox, and both drivers' best results were fourth places. Force India scored more points than in 2011, although it finished lower in the Constructors' Championship.
