About the Fiat 8V

The Fiat 8V, or 'Otto Vu', was a radical departure for a brand known for mass-market economy cars. Conceived by Dante Giacosa, its compact 70-degree V8 engine was originally intended for a luxury saloon that never reached production. Instead, it powered this sophisticated sports car, which featured a tubular chassis and Fiat's first all-independent suspension. While the factory 'Carrozzerie Speciali' bodies are striking, the 8V is famous for the bespoke coachwork it wore from Zagato, Ghia, and Vignale. It proved its mettle on track, dominating the Italian 2.0-litre GT championship for several consecutive years.

Fiat 8V rarity in CarSpot

The Fiat 8V is a Unicorn card in CarSpot, with a rarity score of 100 out of 100. The rarest tier: hypercars, one-offs and cars built in tiny numbers, typically fewer than about 500. A Unicorn card is worth 320 XP.

Each model's tier starts from a 0–100 score based on its value plus its power or production numbers. Once enough players have spotted a model, how often it is spotted can move it up or down one tier. How CarSpot rarity works

Rarity is a collectible game mechanic, not an assessment of real-world scarcity or value.

Fiat 8V fun facts
