About the Ferrari F512 M
The F512 M (Modificata) represents the final and most extreme iteration of the Testarossa platform. Introduced at the 1994 Paris Motor Show, it replaced the 512 TR, featuring fixed headlamps instead of pop-ups and distinctive 'whirl' alloy wheels. The 4.9-litre flat-12 was lightened with titanium connecting rods and a new crankshaft, increasing output to 440 hp. As the last mid-engine Ferrari to use the horizontally opposed 12-cylinder engine, it is a highly coveted collector's piece, with only 501 units produced globally before the front-engined 550 Maranello took its place.
