About the Radical SR8
The Radical SR8 RSX represents the pinnacle of the SR8 lineage, introduced in late 2014 as a more advanced successor to the RX. It features a bespoke 3.0-litre V8 engine developed by Radical Performance Engines (RPE), derived from two Suzuki Hayabusa cylinder heads on a custom block. Unlike earlier versions, the RSX moved to a seven-speed paddle-shift transmission and introduced electrically-assisted power steering. While famously road-legal in the UK through Single Vehicle Approval, its true home is the circuit, where its LMP-inspired aerodynamics and high-revving flat-plane crank engine provide performance that rivals dedicated GT3 race cars.
