About the Aston Martin Vantage GT8
Inspired by the V8 Vantage GTE race car, the GT8 is the lightest and most powerful V8 Vantage of its generation. It features extensive carbon fibre bodywork, including a dramatic wide-body kit, cutaway front wheel arches, and an optional 'Aero Pack' rear wing. The naturally aspirated 4.7-litre V8 was tuned for an extra 10bhp and paired with a revised exhaust system for a more aggressive soundtrack. It remains a highly sought-after collector's piece due to its raw, mechanical driving experience and limited production run.

Aston Martin Vantage GT8 fun facts
- The GT8 saved up to 100kg over the standard V8 Vantage S through the use of a lithium-ion battery, carbon fibre seats, and optional magnesium centre-lock wheels.
- While the 7-speed Sportshift III was available, the GT8 is one of the few modern track-focused specials to offer a traditional 6-speed manual gearbox.
- The car's distinctive cutaway front wheel arches are a direct aerodynamic carry-over from the Aston Martin GTE Le Mans racer.
