About the Ferrari 412

The Ferrari 412 was the ultimate development of the 365 GT4 2+2 series, featuring a larger 4.9-litre V12 and improved aerodynamics including a higher boot line. It remains one of Ferrari's most understated designs, penned by Leonardo Fioravanti at Pininfarina, offering a sophisticated alternative to the mid-engined supercars of the era. The 412 was notable for being the first Ferrari to offer Bosch ABS as standard, reflecting its role as a high-speed continental cruiser rather than a track machine. Its spacious interior and smooth power delivery make it one of the most usable classic V12 Ferraris for long-distance touring.
