About the Ferrari 410 Superamerica
The 410 Superamerica was Ferrari's flagship grand tourer of the 1950s, designed for the wealthiest clientele who demanded unmatched power and exclusivity. It featured the largest version of Aurelio Lampredi's 'long-block' V12 engine, originally developed for Formula 1 and Le Mans racing. Most examples were bodied by Pinin Farina, though a few received bespoke coachwork by Ghia and Boano. Its combination of a short-wheelbase chassis and a high-torque 5.0-litre engine made it one of the fastest and most expensive road cars of its era.
