About the Alpina B7 Turbo E24
Based on the BMW 635CSi (E24), the Alpina B7 Turbo was a significant engineering feat that surpassed the contemporary BMW M635CSi in both power and top speed. Alpina heavily modified the M30 engine with a KKK K27 turbocharger and a sophisticated Pierburg injection system, allowing for adjustable boost from the cockpit. The chassis was upgraded with Bilstein gas-pressure dampers, progressive springs, and ventilated Girling brakes to handle the massive increase in torque. Its understated aesthetic, featuring the iconic 20-spoke wheels and Deco-set graphics, hides a car capable of outperforming period supercars while maintaining grand touring comfort.
