About the Ferrari 250 GT Lusso
The 250 GT Berlinetta Lusso was the final and most refined evolution of Ferrari's iconic 250 series. Designed by Pininfarina and built by Scaglietti, it was intended as a high-end grand tourer rather than a competition machine, featuring a more spacious and luxurious leather-trimmed cabin. It shares its short-wheelbase chassis and basic engine architecture with the legendary 250 GTO, though the Colombo V12 was detuned for smoother road use. Collectors prize the Lusso for its exquisite proportions, often cited as one of the most beautiful cars ever made, and its status as the last Ferrari to use the 3.0-litre '250' engine.
