About the Cupra Formentor
The Formentor is the first model developed exclusively for the Cupra brand, moving away from its origins as a SEAT performance sub-division. Built on the Volkswagen Group's MQB Evo platform, the VZ2 trim features the potent EA888 engine shared with the Golf R, delivering 310 PS through a 4Drive all-wheel-drive system. It combines a lower, more aggressive 'SUV-coupe' silhouette with a driver-focused cabin and sophisticated Dynamic Chassis Control. While it offers the practicality of a family crossover, its performance-oriented tuning and sharp handling make it a credible alternative to traditional hot hatchbacks.
