About the Cadillac XT6
Introduced for the 2020 model year, the Cadillac XT6 was designed to provide a more car-like, maneuverable alternative to the truck-based Escalade while still offering seven-passenger seating. It utilizes the GM C1XX platform shared with the GMC Acadia, featuring a transverse-mounted 3.6-litre LGX V6 engine. The interior focuses on family utility with power-folding third-row seats and a suite of standard safety technologies. While it lacks the ultimate presence of its larger sibling, the XT6 offers a quieter, more refined ride suited for suburban duties. Production is slated to end in 2025 as Cadillac transitions its three-row offering to the all-electric Vistiq.
