About the Cupra Tavascan
The Tavascan VZ is the performance flagship of Cupra's first dedicated electric SUV coupé, built on the Volkswagen Group's MEB platform. It distinguishes itself from its VW ID.5 sibling with a more aggressive, 'disruptive' design language featuring triangular LED signatures and a driver-focused interior with a prominent central spine. The VZ trim employs a dual-motor setup providing all-wheel drive and a combined 340 PS, making it one of the most powerful MEB-based vehicles. While it shares core hardware with other VW Group EVs, the Tavascan is tuned for a sportier driving character with DCC adaptive suspension and progressive steering as standard.
