About the Citroën Xsara Picasso
Launched in 1999 to rival the Renault Scénic, the Xsara Picasso became one of Citroën's most successful models thanks to its distinctive 'egg' shape and immense practicality. The 2004 facelift introduced body-coloured bumpers and improved interior materials, maintaining its status as a family favourite. It features three full-size individual rear seats that can be folded or removed entirely, transforming the cabin into a van-like space. While the 1.6-litre petrol engine offers modest performance, the car is valued by collectors of modern classics for its quirky French design and role in defining the European MPV segment.
