About the Chevrolet Bel Air
The 1957 Bel Air is the last of Chevrolet’s celebrated 1955–57 Tri-Five generation. This representative two-door hardtop uses the popular 283-cubic-inch Turbo-Fire V8 rather than the standard straight-six or scarce fuel-injected engine. Its relaxed ride and effortless low-speed V8 response suit cruising more than corner carving. Original trim and correct drivetrains carry a premium over heavily modified examples.
